I used to come here when I was a student and I am glad that it still serves quality Ethiopian food at reasonable prices. The lunch specials are a good deal and I got the vegetarian platter. Highly recommended!

Ethiopian is one of my favorite underrated cuisine. I think people are still getting familiar with it. Everyone has these preconceived notions of it. The bread and eating by hand might getting use to from a Western perspective. It is actually kind of fun eating with your hand. Just make sure you wash it first! The aspect of sharing with friends/family is very communal. The bread is great for soaking in the sauces. The food is mildly spicy. It is great for those friends who don't eat meat and at the same time it is great for the carnivores also. I prefer the vegan option, so it is that good. The narrow tiny restaurant itself it pretty tight. It is not horrible unless you get stuck next to group of people. It is dimly, and I guess cozy. Service is quick and pleasant. Compared to others I've tried in the city it is pretty decent. The portions are a bit smaller and price a bit higher than some others but for location I guess it probably is about right. I mean for two people it certainly is enough and filling enough.

My experience was average here. The food is good. It's absolutely spot on . However, the service needs improvement . Value for money , absolutely. Do you get dessests - nope.

This is my first time there and the food was fantastic! The name of the lady that served me is Selam ( I hope I spelt it right) but she’s really friendly and polite . I’ll be definitely going back there for more and also, whenever you go there to dine, don’t forget to tip your waitresses. I mean you don’t have to but it’s a nice thing to do :)
